Beach of El Campello, Costa Blanca

El Campello has a vast coastline of about 23 kilometers. The most famous beach of El Campello is Playa Muchavista. This beach is about 3.3 km long and runs into the Playa de San Juan in Alicante. In the summer there is a lot of activity here, there is a beach library and you can practice several active water sports. You can also rent deck chairs with umbrellas and there are various stands with food and drinks available, so there is something for everyone. Certain parts of El Campello beach are also easily accessible for disabled people.

Another popular El Campello beach is Playa del Carrer La Mar. This beach of 2 kilometers is located directly on the town and the fishing district. This beach is also nice for a day out thanks to the fine sand, the beautiful sea and the many facilities. A lot of children's entertainment is offered in the summer, ideal for a fun day out with the whole family.

The above beaches have both been the blue flag of the European Commission for years and are perfect for a wonderful day of sunbathing and swimming. Do you like more quiet and authentic beaches? Then Playa de L'Almadrava and Playa La Cala Nostra are good options in the north.

Activities in and around the beach of El Campello

There are all kinds of fun activities to do in and around El Campello, a few examples:

At about 20 minutes drive north of El Campello you will find the caves of Canelobre, the largest and deepest cave system in Spain.
You can take a boat from the beach of El Campello to the island of Tabarca just off the coast.
Golf enthusiasts have two golf resorts nearby: Club de Golf Alicante at about 15 minutes south and Club de Golf Bonalba only 10 minutes northwest.
