Spanish health care is the most efficient of Europe

According to a study by the American Bloomberg, the Spanish health service is Europe's most efficient and the South European country is even third on the world rankings behind Hong Kong and Singapore.

The third place is due to Spain's high life expectancy and average low costs. While Hong Kong has an efficiency score of 87.3 and Singapore 85.6, it is lower in Spain with 69.3, which is slightly better than Italy with 67.6. In calculating this score, the life expectancy was 84.3 years in Hong Kong, 82.7 in Singapore, 82.8 in Spain and 82.5 in Italy.

We also looked at the costs per person per year, which is $ 2,222 at Hong Kong, $ 2,280 in Singapore, $ 2,354 in Spain, and $ 2,700 in Spain. If we look at the list, we see that the Netherlands in terms of efficiency in health care in 28th place with a score of 50.8, an average life expectancy of 81.5 years but the cost per person of 4,746 euros per year. Belgium finished on the 38th place with a score of 44.8, an average life expectancy of 81 years and costs per person of 4.228 euro per year.
